Letter #1: 1875 Sep 1. From Willard Fiske to Frank J. Garrison, Esq. Letter chiefly concerns additions to the Samuel J. May Collection. Letter details additions from Henry B. Stanton, C.C. Burleigh, and the 60 pamphlets ordered from England as well as a few items from villages near Ithaca. He also mentions an enclosed photograph of Lewis Tappan and briefly mentions a copy of Reminiscenses from a Dr. Ross of Toronto and an attempt to procure material from Salem, Ohio. Letter #2: 1879 Apr 10. From Willard Fiske to "My dear Boyesen." Consists chiefly of congratulatory words to Mr. Boyesen on the expected birth of his baby and playful suggestions of ideas for appropriate versification. Also mentions the availability of Professor and Mrs. Morris' house in Ithaca that might suit the Boyesens upon their return from Paris. There is further mention of Bayard Taylor's lectures and Mrs. Taylor's intention to edit his work.
